PDFEasyGo
Privacy policy
This policy explains how PDFEasyGo handles information when you use www.pdfeasygo.com and its document tools.
1. Account and Google sign-in
When you choose Google sign-in, we receive your Google account identifier, email address and verification status, name, and profile photo URL. We store these to create or identify your account and keep you signed in. We request only openid, email, and profile permissions. We do not receive your Google password or request access to Gmail messages, Google Drive files, or contacts.
2. Your documents
Tools labelled as running in your browser process file contents on your device without uploading them to our servers. Tools labelled as cloud processing upload your selected files to our servers to perform the requested operation. For cloud jobs, we store file names, sizes, processing options, job status, source files, and results. Your documents are not used to train AI models.
3. How information is used and shared
We use account and technical information to provide document tools, maintain sessions, enforce usage limits, investigate errors, and prevent abuse. Google handles identity verification, Vercel hosts the website, and our server infrastructure hosts account records and cloud processing. These providers process information needed to deliver their services. If email features are enabled, Resend delivers account emails. We do not sell personal information or use Google account data for advertising. We may disclose information where required by applicable law or necessary to address a security incident.
4. Cookies, logs, and security
We use essential session cookies to keep you signed in and preferences to remember your language. A login session can last up to 30 days unless you sign out or it is revoked. Hosting and application systems process technical records such as IP addresses, request details, browser information, and errors for operations and security. Connections use HTTPS, and access to server data is restricted. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
5. Retention and deletion
Account information is retained while your account exists. Cloud source files normally expire 24 hours after upload, and results normally expire 24 hours after creation; expired files become unavailable and are removed by scheduled cleanup. Deleting your account removes personal profile information and sessions from the active database, makes documents unavailable, and schedules stored files for deletion. Rotating database backups may retain earlier records for about a week and are restricted to recovery. Operational logs are rotated for diagnostics and security.
6. Your choices
You can use browser-based tools without an account. You can sign out, delete your account from Account settings, or remove PDFEasyGo access in your Google account. Removing Google access does not itself delete existing PDFEasyGo data; use account deletion or contact us for that. You may contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of your information, subject to identity verification and applicable law. Service providers may process information in countries other than yours.
7. Changes to this policy
We will update this page when our data practices change. Material changes to how Google data is used will be disclosed before that new use, with renewed consent where required. The date above identifies the current version.
