Common questions
Will the document look the same?
Yes. Before you download, we compare the first pages of the result with the original and stop if anything moved or went missing. Interactive form fields, attachments and scripts aren't kept, because PDF/A doesn't allow most of them.
Which level should I choose?
PDF/A-2b is accepted by most archives and courts. Choose PDF/A-1b only if a system asks for the older standard, and PDF/A-3b if you need to embed attachments later.
