Common questions
Can redacted content be recovered?
No. Pages with redaction boxes are replaced by images, and their original text, images and comments are not kept in the new file. Copying, searching or removing the black boxes won't bring them back.
Are the other pages changed?
Pages without boxes stay as they are. The new file doesn't keep bookmarks, attachments or fillable form fields, and the document title, author and similar details are cleared.
