Common questions
What does document enhancement do?
It turns each photo upright, converts it to grayscale and stretches the contrast so the paper looks white and the text dark, then resizes it to A4 at about 300 DPI. Turn it off to keep photos in color.
Can the text be searched?
The PDF contains images of the pages. To make the text selectable and searchable, run the result through OCR, which creates a searchable PDF.
